MOA Vote, Pins and Defensive Driving

Dear Members, 
As a reminder the Summer School and Upgrades Memorandums of Agreement vote will be held on: 
Wednesday March 15th
3-4:30 pm
RLC Gym  
Voting will be done via ballot and open throughout the entire meeting.
Administration has agreed to allow you to leave your site after all students are dismissed from campus to attend this meeting.

Due to the issued blizzard watch and storm warning, alternate voting dates will be:
Thursday March 16th or Monday March 20th
3-4:30 pm
RLC Gym

Please know that if accepted, the Summer School Application will be available to members on the following day! Please check your emails! Also, the new upgrades schedule will take effect, therefore please submit any outstanding eligible upgrades to Paulette Theret at RLC or bring to the meeting.

The BTA has distributed PINS with our logo to every member.  We ask that you wear them in solidarity as a daily reminder to our administration that we continue to work under an expired contract.  The dislike of the proposed contract was demonstrated in an overwhelming 175-15 vote against it.The negotiation team is hoping to get back to the table and continue to thank you for your support!

Lastly, the BTA will once again be offering the Defensive Driving Course on the following dates:
Session 1: April 25 and 27 from 3:30-6:30 
Session 2: April 29 (Sat.) from 9:30-3:30 
The cost is $30 pp and is open to all BTA members as well as family and friends.

Seating is limited and refreshments will be served served.
